What chain is the game on?

Blast the Balloon is on Blast L2, which enables us to take advantage of the native yield to fuel rewards for players.

Why is the game on-chain?

We're here to innovate, and we believe it's pretty cool (and fair) to have an on-chain game.

Have the contracts been audited?

Yes, the contracts have been audited by Sub7 who have protected $300m assets thus far.

How much is a bet and ante?

Bets and antes costs 0.004 ETH

How are the entry fees used?

The entry fees from each spin go to the following areas:

• Instant win: 2%

• Jackpot: 96%

• Next round Jackpot: 0%

• Treasury: 2%

The treasury will be governed by $BALL token holders, meaning 100% of the token goes back to the players.

What are the odds?

Each spin has the following odds which are verified on-chain using Pyth RNG:

• Instant win: 0.2% + n/4000, where n = number of spins since last win

  • Players win 70% of the instant win pot

• Jackpot: 15% if no spots taken, reduced by 1% for each spot taken

  • E.g. if 7 spots taken, probability of getting a jackpot spot is 8%

• Mega Jackpot: 1.5%

• If none of the above, then players win Ball Points:

  • 10%: 200 Ball Pts

  • 60%: 500 Ball Pts

  • 24%: 1500 Ball Pts

  • 5%: 5000 Ball Pts

  • 0.9%: 25,000 Ball Pts

  • 0.1%: 200,000 Ball Pts

Jackpot holders at the end of each round receive the following:

• Mega Jackpot: 35% of the jackpot

• Jackpot: 1 / n * 65% of the jackpot, where n = # of jackpot winners

What is a GTD spot?

GTD is a Guaranteed jackpot spot. If you are lucky enough to land in these, you can NOT be replaced by other players who are spinning. There are 3 guaranteed jackpot spots.

How long is one round?

Each round lasts 7 minutes. There is 1 minutes between each round.

What happens if no-one wins a jackpot?

If no player wins a mega jackpot, the mega jackpot prize goes to jackpot holders.

If no player wins a jackpot, the jackpot prize goes to the mega jackpot holder.

If no player wins either, it will go to the next round.

How do spins affect the round timer?

Every spin will randomly increase or decrease the round timer.

• 80%: Increase round by 5 seconds

• 19.5%: Decrease round by 20 seconds

• 0.5%: End Round immediately

Why is there an ante?

Players must pay an ante to bet. This goes into the prize pool and is intended to kickstart each game and discourage players from waiting until the end of the round to bet (sniping).

What is the bonus multiplier?

To encourage players to bet early, players can earn bonus Ball points if they bet early:

• First 90 seconds: 5x multiplier

• Next 90 seconds: 3x multiplier

• Next 60 seconds: 2x multiplier

Will 100% of the tokens be distributed to players?

Yes. There is absolutely no team allocation, no VC allocation, no treasury, and no vesting.

What happens to native yield and gas fees?

Blast is the only Ethereum L2 with native yield and gas revenue sharing. Both of these will go to the community treasury (minus operational costs of the game such as gas fees).
